We're Ba-ack!

We are back from our honeymoon and I am ready to do some serious blogging! We had a wonderful, relaxing time and now we face the challenge of getting back into real-life. I am ready to really focus on my reception planning and  I saw this beautiful bird inspired wedding and had to share it with you.

I'm Getting Married Tomorrow!!!!

This is us. Before we were even dating. Isn't he pretty?!

I am so excited for tomorrow! I am so excited to be marrying this amazing man. He has my heart and I know he'll be taking good care of it.

We'll be gone all next week on our honeymoon ;)

The Answer To My Design Prayers

I have a sad little wing-back chair that I found at a yard sale in 1994. It is a very old chair. The original stuffing was horse hair. So, yes, very old. But the frame is in amazing condition. I had it reupholstered in 1996 and it served me well for over 10 years.
 Now it looks like this...

And I need to reupholster it again. But this time around I am going to do it! (at least that's what I've been telling myself for 2 years now.) I had been putting it off because I wasn't sure exactly how to do the job. Until now! I found this little tutorial and I am so excited to get this job started. I even have fabric, somewhere, that I can use. Let's get this reupholstery party started!

Are you ready for Spring Cleaning?

Yeah, me neither. But I have to do it. I have so much stuff to clear out before we move. I'm going to have a huge yard sale that I wish you could all come to. There is going to be a lot of fun stuff!

It may be worth the drive to the middle-of-nowhere. Yeah, probably not.

Dontcha love 'em? I do! I'm going to make my own.

 I have extra veiling in case my first try is a disaster. I have found this tutorial and it sounds like a breeze.
