So Long, Farewell....

Goodbye 2010!!!
You served me well. This past year has been so event-filled and happy. It has had it's ups and downs but the good times have far surpassed the bad. Tonight I'm going to party it up like no other with awesome friends and the most amazing boyfriend a girl could ask for. I'm looking forward with an open heart and mind to an even better 2011. I've got great things happening in my life and can't wait to share them with all of you!

I love this wonderful day! Knowing our Savior, Jesus Christ, was born and came to earth for us. What an amazing gift. It brings so much joy to my life.

Cookies & Milk

One of our favorite traditions is to put a plate of cookies out for Santa Claus. And that Santa sure is picky!
This is what he's asking for this year...

Stained glass cookies

Why Didn't I Think Of This?

Someone please hire me so I can do this to your ceiling. Pretty please? I really love this and it would look so awesome while you're lying on your bed staring up. Maybe we could do it in your child's bedroom and paint them all different colors, or decopauge them with different patterns.
It will be so much fun!

Under The Tree

Pretty packages under the tree make the Christmas holiday so much brighter. Every year I am determined to step up my gift wrapping game and every year I sadly fail. This year it's names written on the wrapping paper with Sharpie. But one day I will succeed! And it will be a magical Christmas!!

Here is some inspiration to help me (and maybe you) with my life-long goal...

Christmas At My Home

Welcome to my home! Let's take a little tour, shall we?

This is a nativity my son built with Legos. He's a Lego genius.
I made the "Merry Christmas" banner a few years ago with old Christmas cards. And everytime I hang it up my floors are covered in glitter, like I'm at a dance club.

I have to add some sparkle!
This year I limited the ornaments to only red, white and silver. I love the red "pops". And my funny bf tried to hide a green ball in the middle of the tree. I'm way to observant for that!
(If you look closely you can see that my wrapping paper is High School Musical and Cheetah Girls:)
This hutch is my favorite place to decorate for any holiday. On the bottom shelf we put two of our Playmobil Advents. I hope my kids will always be excited by advent calendars no matter how old they are.
Thank you for touring my home. And thanks for not tracking in snow.

What's On Your Christmas List?

Number one on my list is a pretty, pretty necklace. I'm into basic items used on necklaces lately. Here are some pieces I'm wanting in my jewelry box.
