What I've Been Up To

Here are a few projects I've been working on lately....
This necklace is made from metal washers and ribbon. I saw it here and loved it and had to make my own. They even have a tutorial, which you will need. It was easy once I got the hang of it.

These are the headboards I made for my girls. We covered hollow wood doors with fabric of their choosing. Since the doors are hollow they can put tacks into them and decorate them to their hearts' desire. And yes, my girls love pillows.
(Sorry about the poor photo quality. These were taken with my phone.)
And this is my headboard. It is still a work in progress. I'm going to add some trim in brown ribbon similar to this...

What do you think? I like to have something to work on or a project to look forward to, don't you? With the weather supposedly warming up I'm getting antsy to get some of my painting projects done. Where's this elusive sun I've heard so much about? Not in Parma.

Melissa will let you know how much it costs to mail when she sends it to me!

I like the headboards. I might have to try something like that for Em soon.

They were super easy and turned out so cute. And you can make your very own necklace, that's why instructions are included on the link:) Or wait until you come visit and I'll teach you.

Can we get them off the floor of the shop? I want mine to be an authentic one of a kind.
