Ahhhh.....Fall

Don't you just love this time of year? The cool air, the smells, the crunching of leaves...it's all so comforting. I especially love the colors. Any chance I get to accentuate orange is a good time of the year.

Love Is In The Air

My posts have been light this week because I'm helping with my brother's upcoming wedding. We are all so excited and happy for the sweet couple. I've been making cheesecakes and sewing a blue/orange banner. The wedding party is a tail-gate party with Boise State colors, of course.

What To Do, What To Do?

My boyfriend is turning the big 3-0 this month. That's a big day in my opinion. So I really want to have a fun day planned for him. Nothing too cheesy and nothing too over-the-top, he's not that kind of guy.

I think these party ideas are amazing and maybe qualify for a 30th b-day party...

Good friends, good food, good laughs. That's a great birthday. But I think he's thinking it should involve dirt bikes in the desert. Good thing I get to plan it:)

What Inspires You?

Staying inspired as a designer and artist is a very difficult task. Sometimes the ideas just flow through me and I know exactly what to do and other times I have to really search for that perfect inspiration. I made this inspiration board years ago to place in my office to keep all my pictures, quotes, memories, postcards, and anything else that inspires me. 

And this is another one I made that my daughter has taken over. She is one of my biggest inspiratons. I wish I had half the confidence and talent she has. She amazes me everyday:)
