I hate the carpet on my stairs and we will get rid of it someday. Maybe I'll use this idea. I kind of like it, but I think I would rather use glass tiles like I see in all the backsplashes everywhere. When we re-do our master bath with tile I may just go and do the stairs too while the grout is out!
You should definitely do it!!! It would look so good. I love the cool green and blue tones of those glass tiles.
