This is my favorite table to decorate in my home.

 

I made these hearts out of scrapbook paper and strung a ribbon through the middle.  

 

Another use for scrapbook paper besides scrapbooking. I have stacks of paper but never scrapbook.

I Feel A Project Coming On....

I have a thing for monograms. Any time I see a cool new project using letters I have to try it.

Guess I'll be heading to the craft store again.

I forgot to get glitter anyway.

Hang It Up

I often think to myself, "I would really like to hang up pictures or photos and not put holes in them from tacks."
Now I can.  I'll take about 50.

Paperwhites

Once upon a time I grew some paperwhites in the middle of winter. I thought they were lovely and smelled wonderful. Someone else in my home objected to my beautiful paperwhites. So I didn't grow them.
That person is not here to object so I think I want to grow some again.

A Little Pick-Me-Up

I just read this blog post from Leslie of Color Me Pretty about her inspiration technique she used for her studio. I love the yellow/brown/grey combo. It really gave me a jolt of motivation for my own workspace. This is the perfect time of year to spruce up your home to keep you from getting down during these grey, cold months.

I'm loving the yellow.

Yay For Friday!!!

My headboard obsession continues. This one speaks to my "farm-girl" side. I think I know where I can find a few boards, just like these, lying around.

Room & Board (& Batten)

I'm going to be working on an entry way project in the near future and I came across these photos using board and batten. I think this is the solution the entry is screaming for me to use. It's inexpensive but doesn't look it.
And it really refines a room, don't you agree?

So Pretty It Must Smell Good

Sometimes I see something and the packaging is so pretty I don't really care what it is. As long as it's legal. This is one of those somethings.

 Nostalgia, Organic Soaps and Toiletries

 I want to pull this hand cream out of my purse just so people will see how pretty it is. And they will think all the stuff in my purse must be super pretty. Sometimes I'm shallow like that.

 And I'm ok with that! Because it's pretty.

Small Kitchen Fix

Once upon a time I lived in a teeny, tiny house with an even teenier, tinier kitchen. I wanted to do built-in benches so we didn't have to move the table away from the wall every time we needed to sit around it.
It didn't happen because we moved. :(
But I still love the idea of built-ins.

Hey! I have a paneled door that is screaming for some attention. I'm so happy Apartment Therapy did a post on what to do with my door.

Now the weather needs to warm up a little so I can get creative!
