Ok, somehow March is done and I didn't even see it happening. Life just gets ahead of me sometimes. Let me get you all up to speed on my life: I am now working! It hasn't been too bad (it's only been a week so how bad could it be?) I only work about 4 hours in the morning so it's not too much to start off with. Last week we had Spring Break and like always, someone was sick. It started off with Van and then spread to Mia and Paron. Every holiday or break from school means we have to have a sickness in our home. I should just expect it by now. Actually, it makes the kids really excited to be back in school instead of sitting around the house being sick. So it's a plus, right?
My sister Jennifer came for Easter weekend and we had a good ol' time. We tried to do as much as we could in three days and I think we succeeded. We shopped, ate some good food, had a family party, and went to the temple. It was great to see her and have some quality girl time:) We were going to have a pillow fight, paint each others' nails, and do our hair but the weekend got away from us. We'll just have to save that for this summer when she can stay for a few weeks!
I am planting some of my garden this week. It's all tilled up and ready to go. I'll get some pictures of it soon so you all believe me. I'll be planting peas, carrots, leeks, green onions, lettuce, and cabbage to begin with. When it warms up in a month or so I'll get down and dirty and plant the tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and so many more. I'm really excited about this because it will be my first successful garden (by myself). I'm filling my head with positive reinforcement because I've tried to do a garden solo before and it ended up a huge weed patch and very sad looking produce. But I can DO IT!!! This area has some great soil so it will be beautiful and we'll all be healthy and I'll can all my veggies and I'll be the "green"est person around! (Now I'm getting carried away.)
Hope you all have a great spring! Love to all,
